Entrance to our park constitutes your agreement to all Park Rules & Policies (Terms & Conditions).
Campgrounds
At HideAway Lakes, our guests enjoy the peace and quiet. We are a 24-hour quiet park. Please do not play music of any kind. Please maintain the noise levels where they can be heard in your campsite only. Please show respect for your campsite neighbors by keeping your campsite clean at all times.

If at any time your music or conduct is too loud or inappropriate, you will be asked once by the park hosts to comply with the rules of the park. Repeat offenders will be asked to leave the park. Evicted guests will not receive any refund.
Report(s) of excessive noise or unruly behavior may result in guest(s) being evicted from our park.
We reserve the right to ask guest(s) to leave the park at any time and for any reason.

- All guests (18 and older) must show a valid state ID; vehicle operators must show proof of a valid driver's license and auto insurance.
- A parent or guardian must accompany all guests (17 and younger) at all times.
- Please drive 5 MPH at all times. For the safety of all guests and park staff, we do not allow driving after dark.
- Please do not block roadways.
- Only persons with a valid driver’s license and auto liability insurance may operate a motor vehicle.
- Please show courtesy to your fellow campers by not walking through campsites.
- Please see the HideAway Lakes Park detailed map to select the appropriate campsite for your visit. We feature 1 and 2-vehicle sites, large family sites, retreat/reunion sites, and RV sites for boondocking or 30amp/50amp electric connections. Our potable water fill and black water dump station is available on the south side of the park.

RV Guests
Thank you for choosing HideAway Lakes for your Weekend GetAway / Overnight Needs! Please be mindful of your amp usage, so you don’t trip your breaker during your stay.
Please notify management if you have any electrical issues during your stay. Guests are not permitted to diagnose our electrical pedestals per insurance and safety requirements. Management is happy to help. Even if you are an electrician, laws prohibit you from working on our pedestals unless hired to do so.

All Motorhomes, RVs, and Travel Trailers must be in good working order and appearance. We offer 30amp and 50amp electrical connections in many campsites and an RV Water Service Station in the park. We also have Boondocking sites and Silent Generator sites.

- Maintenance on RV’s or vehicles in the park is not allowed.

- Check-in is 6 PM - 8 PM. Gates close at 8 PM; gates open at 7 AM. For the safety of all guests and staff, we do not allow driving after dark. Same-day reservations will be allowed until 8 PM on day of arrival.
- Please report any damage, vandalism, or any issues with your campsite to park staff immediately upon check-in. Any clean-up, damage, or vandalism reported by park staff will be charged to guest's account.
- Check-out is 6 PM. To ensure availability for incoming guests, please plan prompt departures.
Early Check-In
- We may be able to arrange an early check-in if your campsite is available. Please message us for assistance, 915-247-6695.
- Additional fees may apply.
Late Check-In
- Late check-ins must be scheduled with park staff in a timely manner.
- Guests who fail to schedule a late check-in with park staff will forfeit their reservation without camp credits or refunds.
No Show
- Guests who do not arrive during the designated check-in time or park scheduled late check-in time are marked as "No Show" and will forfeit their reservation without camp credits or refunds.

Occupancy
Day use and overnight campsites:
- 1-vehicle sites: 2 tents, 6 people max
- 2-vehicle sites: 3 tents, 10 people max
- 3-vehicle sites: 4 tents, 12 people max (call for booking assistance, 915-247-6695)
- 5-vehicle sites: 6 tents, 15 people max (call for booking assistance, 915-247-6695)
Peace & Quiet Time
We hope you have lots of laughter and fun times during your visit. Please be mindful and keep the music off. This policy is strictly enforced.
- Please report any loud or inappropriate behavior to the park staff.
- Four-wheelers and ATVs are not allowed.
- Please consume alcoholic beverages responsibly. We do not allow intoxication of guests. Law enforcement will be called.
Cleanliness
The cleanliness of the park is important to us. Sites are to be kept clean and orderly at all times. Please leave all areas and restrooms clean. If they need attention, please let us know.
- We do not allow glass bottles or containers of any kind.
- We do not allow pallets. Please do not bring pallets for any reason.
- Do not leave any food out that will attract uninvited pests and animals.
- All trash must be disposed of in sealed trash bags.
- Please do not burn trash in your campfire or grill.
- Trashcans are located at each campsite. Please refrain from throwing any trash, such as bottle caps or cigarette butts onto the ground.
- We have restrooms available, please use them.
- Please be courteous and leave bathrooms clean and tidy for the next guest.
- Dumpsters are located at the southwest corner of the park.
- Please dispose of your broken chairs, tents, etc., directly into the park dumpsters, located at the SW corner of the park.
- Please do not dispose of wires, oil, furniture, mattresses, or any toxic waste or chemicals in our trash cans.
- Clean-up fees beginning at $100 will be assessed for any clean-up performed by HideAway Lakes staff.
Fishing
HideAway Lakes is a privately owned park. We stock Blue, Channel, and White Catfish.
- Texas fishing licenses are not required.
- Please bring your own rod & reel. We do not rent or sell fishing rods.
- Fishing permits must be purchased before entering the park.
- At check-in, all rods will be tagged.
- We allow 1 hook per rod and real. Fishing with sticks, bottles, soda cans, etc., is not allowed.
- We allow 3 catfish per permit. Guests who exceed their limit are charged $8/lb for all catfish.
- We do not allow "catch & release."
- Please allow park staff to count your fish when you check out.
- Pack your fish on ice and clean your catch at home.
- Please do not throw unused bait in the lake. Please give it to a neighbor angler, park staff, or place it in a sealed trash bag for disposal.
Wildlife
HideAway Lakes is a bird sanctuary. Please protect our birds, visiting birds, and all wildlife by maintaining your distance and keeping your campsite clean at all times.
We do not allow glass of any kind, confetti, confetti eggs, fireworks of any kind, holiday baskets with paper or plastic grass/straw, piñatas, or such items. These items injure and can kill the wildlife.
Please remember that you are in a natural wildlife habitat area. There are coyotes, birds of prey, bull snakes, reptiles, snapping turtles, and additional wildlife animals/creatures. All guests should ensure their safety and the safety of all children and pets. Children and pets must be in the care of parents and guardians at all times.

- All guests (17 and younger) must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, at all times.
- Parents/Guardians are responsible for children’s actions and safety.
- Guests are fully responsible for the safety and security of their children at all times, as well as any disturbance caused to other guests.
- Please do not allow your children to climb trees. A fee of $300 will be assessed for any tree damage.
- Please do not allow your children to disturb the wildlife.
- Please keep all hands, feet, and paws out of the water at all times.
- We do not allow boats, canoes, kayaks, etc. of any kind in the water.
- The park speed limit is 5 mph.
Trees & Shrubs
Please do not injure the park trees. NO nails, screws, ropes, or lines permitted to be tied or inserted into trees, shrubs, or other structures.
- Please do not hang from or climb on trees.
- A fee of $300 will be assessed for any tree damage.
- Please report any tree or shrubbery issues in your campsite to park staff immediately upon check-in. Any tree or shrubbery damage reported by park staff will be charged to guest's account.
Restrooms
For the convenience of our guests, porta-potties are available during our hours of operating in the Spring and summer. HideAway Lakes staff clean the restrooms every 3 hours. Please help keep the restrooms clean by disposing of your personal items in the trash receptacles.

- Please bring your own toilet paper, sanitary wipes, etc., with you during your visit.
- Guests under the age of 18 require adult supervision.
Dog Policy
A maximum of 2 small/medium dogs (per campsite/family/group) are certainly welcome at many Hideaway Lakes campsites. Please see the HideAway Lakes Park detailed campsite map for dog-friendly campsites. Please keep your dogs on short leashes, in your campsite, and under the owner's physical control at all times!
In the event your dog bites someone, we are obligated to call the sheriff's department. They can & will take your dog. It will be impounded until you can prove to them your dog has a rabies vaccination.
- Please pick up after your dog. If you do not have dog poop bags, please visit the Bait Shack.
- Owners are liable for their dog's actions while visiting the park.
- Proof of rabies/distemper vaccinations must be provided upon request.
- Dogs must wear appropriate identification tags at all times.
- Dogs are not allowed near the restrooms. Please keep your dog in your campsite at all times.
- Dogs are not allowed in the water for any reason.
- If you receive more than 1 verbal warning about our dog rules, your dog will need to be removed from the campground.

Guests may build campfires on the ground in every campsite. Please build campfires away from the trees.

- We have firewood bundles of pecan, piñon, and juniper are available for purchase.
- NO cutting or trimming of trees nor gathering of wood on RV grounds. To put out your fires, please cover them with surrounding dirt.
- A fee of $300 will be assessed for any tree damage.
- Fires must never be higher than 18 inches.
- Campfires are for firewood ONLY! Please do not burn trash in campfires or grills.
- We do not allow pallets. Please do not bring pallets for any reason.
- Never leave fires unattended!!!
- Always extinguish fires completely when leaving them for any amount of time, cover the fire with dirt. Extinguished fires must be cool to the touch.
Bicycle & Walking Path
Currently, we do not have a bicycle or walking path. Out of respect for your neighboring campers, please do not ride your bicycle or walk through campsites.
Miscellaneous Policies
- Flying kites is not allowed.
- Drones and remote-controlled machines are not permitted.
- We do not accept deliveries or allow the delivery of items or packages to any guests.
- Nudity or lewd behavior are not allowed on the premises.
- We do not allow intoxication of guests. Law enforcement will be called.
Internet Service
Broadband service does not exist out here. We are truly OFF-THE-GRID! There is no Wi-Fi connectivity. Your cell service may be spotty.
Damage & Harmful/Illegal Activity
Please report any damage, vandalism, or any issues with your campsite to park staff immediately upon check-in. Any clean-up, damage, or vandalism reported by park staff will be charged to guest's account.
- No trimming or wood gathering from trees. A fee of $300 will be assessed for any tree damage.
- Firewood bundles are available for your purchase.
- Please do not hang any items from trees.
- Please do not climb or hang from trees.
- Absolutely NO FIREWORKS!
- The use of archery, paintball, slingshots or air guns is not allowed.
- Any damage made to park or property will be billed to the guest.
- Do not engage in illegal activities anywhere on the property.
- Do not leave any food out that will attract uninvited pests and animals.
- Guests who enter the park with glass containers of any kind will incur a minimum $100 fee.
- We do not allow intoxication of guests. Law enforcement will be called.
- Drunk / Disorderly evictions will result in a $500 fee to guests.
Cancellations & Refunds
- We do not issue refunds.
- We do not charge for sunshine, nor do we refund for inclement weather.
- Cancellations made a minimum of 2 days before the arrival date may result in camp credits that can be used for a future stay during the same camping season, less a $5 rescheduling fee.
- Booking, credit card processing, and lock site fees are non-transferable.
Payments & Fees
Any account that becomes past-due may will be subject to a 10% late payment fee, and may be suspended or disabled for non-payment at any time at the sole discretion of HideAway Lakes. Any accounts that are not collectable by HideAway Lakes will be turned over to an outside collection agency. If your account is turned over for collection, you agree to pay HideAway Lakes a “Collection Fee” of not less than $250, in addition to any fees that may be imposed by the outside collection agency or its legal representation. All services that HideAway Lakes offers are considered to be provided on a strictly prepaid basis.
Attorney's Fees
The prevailing party shall have the right to collect from the other party its reasonable costs and necessary disbursements and attorneys’ fees incurred in enforcing this Agreement.
Indemnification
Guests acknowledge that they make use HideAway Lakes’ services at their own risk.
Guests assume any and all risks associated with the foregoing and agree to hold HideAway Lakes
harmless from and indemnify HideAway Lakes against the same.

Policy Changes
HideAway Lakes reserves the right to evict or refuse entry to any person. Guests and their visitors agree to use the campground at their own risk. Management, staff, and owners are not responsible for damage, injury or loss to persons, pets, or property. We reserve the right to make changes to the rules, regulations, and fees that we deem necessary.
